Welcome to QMO Friends

QMO Friends is a unique club for our most loyal fans. This is a yearly membership making you a season ticket holder to all of our concerts for the subscribed year as well as giving you exclusive benefits, such as heavily discounted prices to our chamber event: Spring Soiree, and access other specials offered to our orchestra members such as the Camerata of St John and QSO. There is an option of either singles' membership ($150) or couples' membership ($270).

Subscription to QMO Friends in 2020 is now open.

Some of the benefits of being a QMO Friend include:

  • One/Two tickets at each of our QMO concerts for the year
  • Access to VIP afternoon tea during intermission at each concert
  • Ability to purchase additional 4 extra tickets with VIP afternoon tea access at a discounted, members-only price prior to public sale
  • Regular detailed email updates exclusive to our Friends Insights, with lots of news within the Queensland Medical Orchestra and Choir to keep you abreast of our latest developments and early ticket releases.
  • Special opportunities to meet our performers and sponsors

When you become a Friend, you will enjoy all the special benefits and take the hassle out of ticket-purchase throughout the year. You will also be supporting our orchestra and choir, as $15 of your annual subscription will go towards our administrative, logistic and equipment costs so that we can maximise proceeds from our concerts to our charities.

If you are interested in joining QMO Friends in 2020, please email events@qmo.org.au

We sincerely thank you for your support and hope to welcome you as a QMO Friend for 2020.

UPCOMING EVENTS

SCREEN & STAGE SPECTACULAR

Join us for an afternoon of music from Blockbuster Movies and Broadway Shows. The program includes themes from Star Wars, Mission Impossible, Lord of the Rings, to stage musical excerpts from Wicked, Chicago, and Westside Story, just to name a few. Proceeds from this concert will go to both Ashintosh Foundation and CHIRF. CHIRF is a Health Promotion Charity to support medical and allied services for the Mallacoota community which kept running even when it was isolated during the bushfires. Proceeds from this concert will replenish their clinics, and increase the much-needed services in the coming months of rebuilding.
